China-Italy Design Innovation Hub

Located in Milan, Italy, the China-Italy Design Innovation Hub (CIDIH) is a base of education and research set up by Tsinghua University in Europe, covering an area of 23,973 square meters in total. CIDIH gives full play to the educational and research strength of Tsinghua University, and coordinates with Tsinghua Arts and Design Institute in Milan, thus integrating excellent Chinese and foreign teaching and research resources to cultivate top-notch innovative talent with global vision. Through innovative management models, high-level cooperation and exchanges, training, and exhibitions, CIDIH will foster pioneers and boost Chinese design and innovation industry and develop into a design and innovation hub with global influence. Meanwhile, it will work closely with the industry related, guide the transformation of achievements, facilitate incubation of enterprises and play a proactive part in the implementation of the “Belt and Road Initiative”, contributing to the education, research, cultural exchanges and industrial development of China and Italy.

China-Italy Future Fashion & Innovation Center

On April 4, 2021, under the discussion and decision of the management committee of CIDIH, China-Italy Future Fashion & Innovation Center will be established to support international exchange and cooperation of CIDIH, carry out international exhibitions, conferences and relevant international competitions on future fashion innovation and design, and undertake part of the comprehensive and coordinative workloads of CIDIH. The center plays an active role in bringing together Chinese and Italian resources, promoting cultural exchanges, constructing an international innovative design network, developing the talent pool of international experts and exploring international fashion trends, in order to facilitate the development of CIDIH and the work of Tsinghua University.
